The real story began when Hendriekus Mulderij, our grandfather, emigrated from the Netherlands to South Africa after World War II. Armed with just a toolbox and a dream, he started creating in his backyard. By collaborating with a chemist, he developed a specialized, durable polyurethane for our double-sided precast fence molds, culminating in a patented design in the mid 80's and the formation of Elastomold Engineering. Today, we proudly carry on his legacy by delivering top-notch solutions for all your concrete needs.
Our rich history is anchored in the dedication of its founders 3rd generation, Andre Muldery Snr and the late Sjors Mulderij. Joining the company at just 17, Andre Snr took the helm after the passing of his father and brother, propelling the business to new heights. He continues to lead with passion, preparing to pass the torch to the next generation—his children, Andre Muldery Jnr and Natasha Theron.
In 2010, we proudly rebranded as Elastoquip cc, marking a new chapter in our ongoing journey.Elastoquip is thrilled to announce the expansion of our business in 2021 with the launch of our subsidiary, Elastoquip USA, Inc., based in Austin, Texas. Founders Andre Muldery Snr as President and Andre Muldery Jnr as Vice President will continue to lead the South African parent company, while Founder Natasha Theron as President will focus on the US operations & growth.
